process

Sixty seconds, thirty-seven shots — an average of a second and a half each. At that cut rate nothing can be approximate: every shot has to deliver its information immediately and hand off to the next, or the film collapses into a montage of pretty frames. So the whole thing was broken down shot by shot before anything was generated, each one written for exactly what it had to carry in the time it had.

Holding one face across thirty-seven generations came from a chain, not from luck. The lead was written as a character card first; reference stills were built from that card, and those stills then drove the video references for every shot — so each generation was anchored back to the same source instead of drifting from the one before it.

Voice was directed in ElevenLabs and the score in Suno to the same brief as the picture — in a film this short, sound carries as much of the story as the image does.

All video was generated in Seedance. Stills and character references were built in Nano Banana Pro. The film was assembled, graded and finished in DaVinci Resolve.
