This series dives into the mental landscape of our digital world, where unseen algorithms and carefully crafted illusions increasingly influence how we connect, see ourselves, and understand the truth. Through surreal imagery and emotionally powerful visuals, I explore the tension between freedom and dependence, individuality and conformity, information and manipulation.
At its core, the project expresses a growing unease: social media promises us self-expression but often leaves us feeling trapped. Imagine a chained hand reaching out to a glowing screen, a vault hiding the truth, or the illusion of choice in a world that’s constantly updated for us—never by us. These images invite viewers to reflect on the true cost of being constantly connected and the machinery behind our feeds.
Inspired by dystopian aesthetics, decayed spaces, and fractured light, the visuals are both intimate and unsettling. They reveal how easily our digital lives turn into performance, how swiftly information can be weaponized, and how subtly influence can replace genuine thought.
This isn’t a call to preach or judge, but a prompt to provoke thought. My hope is to create a moment of pause amid the endless scroll and encourage a deeper awareness in an age designed to distract us.
